Harvard Humanist Alumni (“HHA”) is a Shared Interest Group of the Harvard Alumni Association. HHA is primarily for alumni of all Harvard schools, but also welcomes students, current and former faculty and staff, and close relatives of alumni. Those without Harvard affiliations are welcome to register as friends, and to participate in most of our programs.
Our purpose, in cooperation with the Humanist Community at Harvard is to create a community for Humanists and other
non-theists, addressing our needs through various life stages. HHA currently sponsors a regular Humanist Discussion Group in Cambridge, and we hold an annual reunion event during Commencement week.
Since the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard offers many activities in the Boston/Cambridge area HHA is developing chapters in larger cities. Our Chicago and Los Angeles chapters already have local leaders, and there are substantial chapter lists (ready for a leader) in New York City, San Francisco and the District of Columbia. We hope to establish chapters in additional cities as our membership grows.
Please join us at our online membership site. This will not only enable us to keep you informed, but it will also allow you to join a Chapter list, tell us about your interests, and find other Humanist and like-minded Harvard alumni in our online membership directory.
